The leader of the German sovereignist and eurosceptic party Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), Dr. Frauke Petry, called the British referendum “a signal to the Brussel´s politburo”. She sees the result of the referendum as a reaction against the EU centralism. Other European nations might as well “reconquer their sovereignty” in the way the British did. German MEP Marcus Pretzell of the eurosceptic Alternative für Deutschland party (AfD) welcomed the British EU referendum and demands a referendum about the German EU membership as well. The Force National (the only political party from Romania affiliated to Movement for “Europe of Nations and Freedom”) has asked today to Romanian Parliament to vote a mandate of peace and non-conflict negotiations in NATO Summit in Warsaw for president Klaus Iohannis. Talks about self determination of national minorities in Ukraine

The German Center for Eurasian Studies met in Prague leading representatives of the World Council of Carpathian Rusyns. The talks were about the political situation of the national minority of Rusyns in Transcarpathia which is today part of Ukraine. The talks were about the level of discrimination by the Kiev government and the ignorance of the EU institutions.

Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko said in the beginning of June that he is willing to give Crimean Tatars political and cultural autonomy in case Crimea comes back to Ukraine. Hungarian MP Márton Gyöngyösi (Jobbik) sees in Poroshenko´s plan a “political statements clearly directed against Russia”. Gyöngyösi: “Mr. Poroshenko doesn´t have any credibility when it comes to ethnic minority rights issues.” The Hungarian politician demands “self-governance and cultural autonomy” for ethnic Hungarians in Ukraine. German MEP Pretzell: “Genocide recognition and genocide prevention!”

German MEP Marcus Pretzell of the eurosceptic AfD party sharply criticized the Bundestag debate about the recognition of the Armenian genocide as an “unworthy theater”. Pretzell described the “aggressive actions” of the Turkish lobby groups that want to prevent the recognition as “shocking”. “Erdogan uses migrant lobby groups as his infantry in Europe”, said Pretzell.
