Exactly a week ago, the Saudi Arabia backed opposition group declared its withdrawal from «Geneva 3» talks moderated by the U.N. special envoy, Mr. Staffan de Mistura. The leader of this group, Mr. Riyad Hijab claimed that negotiations are useless as long as the government forces are shelling residential areas and resorting to starvation techniques. Belgium: Marking Syria’s 70 years of Independence

Marking the 70th anniversary of the Syrian Independence Day from the French colonial power, nonprofit organization SOLIDALE, also named SOL.ID, organized a “Stand by Syria” conference against terrorism and imperial colonialism. The 2nd Yalta International Economic Forum – ‘Economic Growth in the Face of New Challenges” – commenced its proceedings on the morning of 14th April 2016. The first of the Forum’s events was an exhibition of investment projects – already incepted, and proposed for implementation – in the Republic of Crimea in the City of Sevastopol. The projects featured in the exhibition include the construction of a new terminal building at Sevastopol airport; establishing industrial parks, agricultural parks, and tourist clusters in the Republic of Crimea; as well as implementing development projects in the Region. Ukrainian ambassador to Germany threatens German MEP Marcus Pretzell on twitter

The Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, Andrij Melnyk, threatened German MEP Marcus Pretzell from the sovereignist party “Alternative für Deutschland” (AfD) via twitter. Melnyk said: Pretzell´s recent “illegal visit to occupied Crimea” will have “consequences”. The Ukrainian ambassador did not explain what type of consequences. AfD MP criticized the upcoming “Bilderberg Conference” in Dresden

Jörg Urban, MP of the sovereignist party “Alternative für Deutschland” (AfD) in the parliament of Saxony criticized the planned so-called “Bilderberg Conference” in the Saxonian capital Dresden. Urban: “It is more than questionable if the reputation of Dresden will benefit from this secret conference.” The Saxonian MP called the Bilderberg Conference an “undemocratic meeting of self declared elites who discuss the fate of billions of ordinary people”.

The German MEP Marcus Pretzell from the sovereignist party „Alternative für Deutschland“ (AfD) announced today that he left the ECR fraction in the European Parliament. He will not join any other fraction in the parliament before the AfD party convention in Stuttgart end of April, he said.
